Los Lunas, New Mexico, is a small town with an abundance of Southwestern charm. Once primarily a farming village, life there moves a little slower. This is where Bethany lived.
She has always been a world traveler who seems to make good friends wherever she goes. Along the way, she has built an incredible résumé of diverse careers: movie films, medic, snowboard instructor, and fashion model.
We’ve photographed together for many years, but the image with the Moto Guzzi has always been my favorite. It has an earthy, comfortable feeling that reminds me of . I always imagined Bethany would remain part of that countryside. Instead, she is now surfing, studying law in Australia, and raising her two young children.
From a photographic perspective, this is a reminder that every photograph captures only a single moment in time.
